Network AdministratorDirects and coordinates local area computer network activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Include the following (other duties may be assigned):Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories, and security.Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.Remains abreast of changes in user and system software and hardware requirements.Monitors and administers the network, keeping system information up-to-date in a network log.Updates the operating system as required.Manages memory usage of the network, network printing, and network technical resources.Maintains a backup of all files, security, and rights.Qualification Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
