TCCHE is looking for an experienced Stage Manager to join our event team for Mei-lan & Ali - Live in Seattle , an immersive live concert featuring vocalist and composer Mei-lan Maurits and singer and musician Ali Pervez Mehdi. The concert will take place at Town Hall Seattle on Saturday, October 3, 2026 . We are looking for an experienced live-event professional who can take responsibility for the smooth running of the stage and coordinate closely with the artists, touring team, venue, production team and TCCHE event team. The Role You will be responsible for managing activity on and around the stage, helping ensure that soundcheck, artist calls, stage preparation and the live performance run safely, professionally and to schedule. Responsibilities will include: Managing the stage throughout soundcheck, rehearsals and the live performance. Working closely with the Event Manager, venue technical team and artist touring team. Ensuring the stage is prepared and ready for soundcheck and performance. Coordinating artist and musician calls to stage. Managing stage timings and ensuring the show follows the agreed running order. Cueing artists and other relevant personnel as required. Keeping all relevant teams informed of changes to timings or the running schedule. Coordinating movement of artists, musicians and crew around the stage and backstage areas. Checking that stage equipment, microphones, monitors, instruments, lecterns, stands and other required items are correctly positioned before use. Working with audio, lighting and venue technicians to ensure stage requirements are ready at the appropriate time. Keeping backstage and stage access organised during the event. Helping manage any stage changes or equipment movements required during the show. Identifying and resolving practical stage issues quickly during soundcheck and the performance. Maintaining a calm, organised and professional working environment backstage. Ensuring the performance stays on schedule and communicating promptly where adjustments are required. Supporting safe working practices on and around the stage. About You We would particularly like to hear from people who have worked as a: Stage Manager / Concert Stage Manager / Show Caller / Assistant Stage Manager / Production Stage Manager You should have: Professional Stage Management experience in live music, concerts, theatre, touring productions or similar live events. Experience working directly with professional artists, musicians and technical crews. A strong understanding of live production and backstage operations. Experience working with show schedules, running orders and artist calls. Confidence coordinating sound, lighting, production, venue and artist teams. Excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to stay calm and make quick practical decisions during a live show. Strong attention to detail and timekeeping. A good understanding of stage safety and professional backstage working practices. Confidence using radios/comms and communicating clearly with different departments. Availability for the necessary event hours, including setup, soundcheck, the concert and post-show activity. Previous experience working at Town Hall Seattle or other major Seattle concert and performing arts venues would be an advantage, but is not essential.
